2010 Season Auditions
Six Flags Great America is seeking enthusiastic, talented singers, dancers, improvisational actors, animated character performers and JUSTICE LEAGUE actors to perform in our award winning shows, parades and more.

Singers and Dancers (16 or older):
Open call no appointment necessary
Singers will be given a maximum of two minutes to demonstrate their vocal talents. Singers should be prepared to learn additional music or a movement combination. Also, be prepared to stay for the dancer open call after the singer open call. No a cappella auditions. Dancers will be given a combination by our choreographer and should be prepared to sing at a call back if asked. Dancers may also be cast into performing costume character dancer roles.
Musicians, drummers, actors and speciality Acts (16 or older):

All acts should prepare several short selections showing various abilities. We will also be auditioning scare actors for our annual Fright Fest event.
Animated costume character performers (15 or older):

Our animated costumed characters bring children's favorite cartoon characters to life. These roles require great guest interaction skills and performers should have basic dance and movement skills. All applicants for costumed characters must be between 5'-2" and 6'0 tall and of a slender build.
JUSTICE LEAGUE character actors (16 or older):

Bring our most popular characters from comics, cartoons and movies to life for our guests. Improvisational skills and excellent characterization are essential to make these characters come to life. We are looking for actors to bring THE DARK KNIGHT, ROBIN, THE FLASH, GREEN LANTERN, WONDER WOMAN, HAWK GIRL, THE JOKER, THE RIDDLER, CHEETAH and SINESTRO to life.
Techniciancs, wardrobe, seamstresses and office (17 or older):

Six Flags annually employs dozens of theatre technicians, wardrobe personnel and seamstresses. Professional lighting, audio, rigging and audio/visual technicians are hired to operate shows in the various theatrical venues at the park. Interviews will be conducted during the audition dates.

Animated costume character escorts and theatre attendant hosts (16 or older)

We are also casting friendly and creative people for theatre attendant hosts and animated costume character escorts. No performing experience required.
General Information:
- All persons hired must provide their own transportation to and from the park.
- College Credit can be earned by performers, technicians and wardrobe personnel.
- Availability for rehearsals/performances is mandatory and plays a major factor in being hired.
- Please bring up-to-date availability information with you through September 13. If hired, your schedule will be based on this information.
- Performers should bring a non-returnable photo and resume to the audition.
- We strongly encourage performers from all cultural backgrounds to audition.
TIPS FOR TALENT
- Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled audition time.
- Please bring a recent headshot and resume with current contact information.
- If you plan to audition with a musical number, please bring the sheet music or a backing track on CD.
- Please review the audition material requirements. If you are asked to audition with a monologue, please come prepared with a monologue.
- Please do not email or call us after your audition. A Six Flags talent representative will call you.
- Please review the age, availability, transportation, and skill set requirements before auditioning. There is no point in auditioning for any role if you do not meet the requirements listed in the casting notice.
