Seasonal Management: Labor Tactician

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: Responsible for overseeing the effective use of park labor resources in a given department in order to ensure superior guest experience and operational excellence.  Position will be responsible for optimizing labor based on the needs of the park.
Skills required: Must possess analytical skills, be detail oriented and have organizational skills.  Candidate must be computer literate in Microsoft Office products including Access and Excel.  Must work well under pressure and be able to keep a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Service Worker: Wardrobe Host/Hostess and Seamstress

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: Distribute, organize and collect all costumes and uniforms. Examine costumes for necessary repairs and log repairs needed. Launder uniforms using appropriate techniques and maintain dry cleaning schedules. Perform needed costume/uniform maintenance, i.e., hand or machine sewing of seams and holes, button, zipper, or Velcro replacement-gluing fur, fur cleaning, eye and mouth mesh replacement, and possible garment construction or tailoring. Assist wardrobe supervisor in keeping shop clean, organized, and stocked with supplies. Assist characters/performers with dressing as needed.
Skills required: Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Must be knowledgeable with sewing machines and hand sewing, crafting skills a plus. Ideal candidate must be computer literate, possess problem-solving and organizational skills; be comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment, work on multiple tasks, and prioritize various assignments.

Entertainer: Costume Character

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: To provide entertainment for our guests by performing in character costumes and/or body puppet suits.  Check our Auditions Page for specialty talent casting calls!
Skills required: Must be between the heights of 4'11"-5'8" to fit into costumes. Must be friendly, energetic, positive, and able to work in heat. Applicants must be able to interact with guests.

Host/Hostess: Show Venue Greeter

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: Entertainment Greeters are responsible for helping guests with questions and directing them to a seat at a variety of shows. The Greeter is also responsible for crowd control and maintaining cleanliness of the venues.
Skills required: Greeters must be able to communicate in a "Guest First" manner. Must be able to direct guests to available seating. Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Service Worker: Audio/Visual Technician

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: Walk Park with a constant review of audio and video performance and appearance of SFTV and SFR (audio) to ensure content clarity, product performance, and appropriate operation. Monitor volume levels throughout the day based on time of day and projected/actual attendance. Complete daily operating report, which includes system check for all SFTV and SFR. Correct or troubleshoot issues with input from AV Assistant Manager or corporate managers. Report any issues directly to the Audio Visual Assistant Manager.
Skills Required:  1-3 years of audio/visual experience preferred.

Service Worker: Point of Sale Technician

Position Type: Seasonal
Description:  A Point of Sale Technician is responsible for daily maintenance of computer systems throughout the park while complying with all Six Flags policies and procedures. The duties of a Point of Sale Technician consists of troubleshooting hardware/network issues for cash register systems.
Skills required:  Candidates must have good problem solving abilities and knowledge of computer repair and maintenance. Basic network troubleshooting experience desired. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs as needed. Strong inter-personal and communication skills and be able to work in a fast paced environment. You must be available to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Description: The Cash Control Teller is responsible for providing all functions relative to making, issuing, counting and auditing cashier change funds and manager funds.
Skills required: Must be at least 18 years of age and able to communicate verbally with employees. Must be able to count coins, currency, checks, credit card slips and tickets, as well as operate various machinery involved in sorting, verifying and packaging, coin and currency. Bank experience preferred but not necessary.

Description: To provide family fun and fond memories for our guests while working in various positions throughout the park and support areas. The Guest Relations Representative will be responsible for the handling of all guest concerns in the Theme Park, Hurricane Harbor, and Wild Safari.
Skills required: GR Reps will handle ticket transactions including advanced sales, group sales, complimentary tickets, season tickets, promotional tickets, and ticket problem reconciliation. GR Reps will handle all guest concerns, including park information, compliments, and complaints received in person or on the telephone. Must be at least 18 years of age and willing to work a varied shift. Must be able to remain calm when dealing with stressful situations, and able to handle multiple tasks.

Service Worker: Market Research Assistant

Description: Market Research Interviewers interact with Park visitors, collect data, and record responses into a Palm Pilot.

Laborer: Landscaping

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: The seasonal landscaper is responsible for maintaining the park's quality landscape. Landscapers maintain the upkeep of vast lawn areas and flower gardens. Landscapers also water and maintain the irrigation of park's plants, shrubs and bushes.
Skills required: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Applicants must be able to operate a weed eater, bush saws, and blowers. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Must be able to work early morning hours, weekends, and holidays.

Service Worker: Loss Prevention Officer

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: A Loss Prevention Investigator is responsible for protecting monetary and tangible assets of the company. Investigators will conduct pre-employment/background interviews and investigations into all subversive activity engaged in on Company property. In addition, will conduct operating audits in all departments, collect &evaluate accounting information and interview employees with unexplained variances. Conduct follow-up interviews and meetings to gather information needed for criminal &civil prosecution of cases.
Skills required: Minimum Requirements for this position include: Formalized training in interview/interrogation from John E. Reid or Wicklander or 2 years previous experience, Associate Degree or two years related experience. Service Worker: Park Services Host/Hostess

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: Provide superior guest service for all guests. Maintain a clean park environment for guests throughout the entire shift. Transport trash from the trash cans to the park compactor areas and separate as necessary to adhere with parking recycling rules, wipe down all trash receptacles, table tops, and counters in assigned sections.
Skills required: Identify and react to detailed areas both behind the scenes and guests' view, in order to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Search for and remove trash, cigarette butts, debris, and graffiti. Sweep park streets, walkways, and attraction areas with a broom and dustpan. Wipe down all trash receptacles. Answer guest questions. Prepare restrooms daily for park operation and maintain throughout the day.

Requires physical mobility (i.e., the ability to move in different work stations, hand and arm movement). Requires long hours of standing, walking, bending.

Service Worker: Security Host/Hostess

Description: Responsible for the protection of guests, employees and the assets of the park, as well as responding to emergencies and enforcing park policy. The duties of a Security Officer vary from Main Gate screening to Bike Patrol or Dispatcher. Interview guests and write incident reports. Perform inspections of all items brought into the park. Respond to requests for assistance throughout the property and enforce the rules and policies of Six Flags Great Adventure.

Service Worker: Lifeguard

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: Recognize and successfully manage aquatic emergencies by utilizing skills taught by the National Pool and Water Park Association to be the top lifeguards in the country. Assist guests with questions concerning rides, directions, and policies. Team members work outside at the wave pool, slides, and our aquatic children's playground.
Skills required: Lifesaving techniques or experience a plus. Must be able to successfully pass the training program and exams; Lifeguard Certification from our training program.
