Audio/Video Technician

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: This is a critical role in ensuring that Six Flags T.V. and Six Flags Radio is always up and running for our Guests. Audio/Video Technicians are responsible for the first line of troubleshooting of Six Flags T.V. and Six Flags Radio. They constantly review audio and video performance throughout the park, watch program loop at least once per week, report all unusual operating conditions to appropriate individuals, override audio schedules and settings based on changes of theme park operating conditions, clean T.V., T.V. enclosures and speakers when required, maintain efficient and effective performance and appearance of Six Flags T.V. and Six Flags Radio equipment.
Skills required: Education and/or experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. One to three years of audio/video experience. Must be detail oriented. Have excellent oral and written communications skills. Posses strong team work and interpersonal skills for interface with all levels of management.

Admissions Host/Hostess

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: Be among the first to welcome our Guests to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom! Admissions attendants operate computerized season pass systems, are responsible for entering Guest information, taking digital photos and processing season passes, selling park admission tickets using a computerized point of sale system, giving appropriate change and receipts and performing other related duties, as required and assigned.
Skills required: Welcome and greet all Guests as they enter the park and account for the tickets of each person entering. Operate computerized season pass system, responsible for entering Guest information, taking digital photos and processing the season pass card. Talk with Guests and answer questions regarding park policies and procedures concerning the season pass program. Insure accountability for ID cards and cash bank on a daily basis. Give appropriate change and receipts when necessary.

Cash Control Auditor Host/Hostess

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: Assist the Cash Control Supervisor and fellow auditors in collecting, auditing, and reporting all daily park revenue. Audit currency, coins, and media. Prepare, issue, and collect cash bags. Issue change. Perform cash and ticket pickups from various revenue locations in the park.
Skills required: Ability to work closely with other auditors in a windowless environment with artificial lighting for up to 8 hours at a time. Excellent command of basic mathematical skills as well as US currency. Excellent command of the English language, both orally and in writing.

Entertainer: Costume Character

Skills required: Strong public speaking skills. Outgoing personality desired. Ability to speak on a microphone to large groups of people. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Park Services Host/Hostess

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: Provide superior guest service for all guests. Maintain a clean park environment for guests throughout the entire shift. Transport trash from the trash cans to the park compactor areas and separate as necessary to adhere with parking recycling rules, wipe down all trash receptacles, table tops, and counters in assigned sections.
Skills required: Identify and react to detailed areas both behind the scenes and guests' view, in order to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Search for and remove trash, cigarette butts, debris, and graffiti. Sweep park streets, walkways, and attraction areas with a broom and dustpan. Wipe down all trash receptacles. Answer guest questions. Prepare restrooms daily for park operation and maintain throughout the day.

Description: Responsible for the safe daily operation of a given ride in an area. Comply with all Six Flags Discovery Kingdom policies and procedures. Assist guests on and off the attraction. Operate ride in a safe manner consistent with park operating procedures. Assure that all aspects of the ride cycle comply with normal safety procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment for guests and team members.
Skills required: We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic team players committed to rider safety. Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time. Requires physical mobility (i.e., the ability to move in different work stations, hand and arm movement). Must be able to read, speak, and understand the English language. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Security Host/Hostess

Description: Responsible for the protection of guests, employees and the assets of the park, as well as responding to emergencies and enforcing park policy. The duties of a Security Officer vary from Main Gate screening to Bike Patrol or Dispatcher. Interview guests and write incident reports. Perform inspections of all items brought into the park. Respond to requests for assistance throughout the property and enforce the rules and policies of Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.
Skills required: Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to work outside and enjoy working with the public and solving problems. The ability to interview and document incidents is helpful. Knowledge of computers is beneficial.
